TNB Electron deploys 200kW DC Charger at BHPetrol Genting Klang, free for limited time

Located in Kuala Lumpur, the new 200kW DC Charger is now operational at BHPetrol Jalan Genting Klang 1. As part of its special launch promotion, users get to enjoy free access to this EV fast charger for a limited period.

The latest deployment of DC Chargers is a first for TNB Electron, marking its presence at a BHPetrol station. TNB Electron is reportedly collaborating with BHPetrol to expand the electric vehicle charging network to more locations, including major highways.

The Autel DC Charger comes equipped with two CCS2 nozzles, which are designed to supply a charging power of up to 200kW. When two electric vehicles are plugged in, the chargers' capacity is automatically split between them using the two nozzles.

As usual, TNB Electron provides complimentary charging at its newly installed EV charging stations. Users can take advantage of free charging at the BHPetrol Genting Klang outlet from 12:00 pm on December 30, 2024, up until 11:59 am on December 31, 2024 - a full 24 hours of complimentary charging.

beware that the Go To-U app enables users to pre-book the charger in advance. Before heading to the location to take advantage of the free charging offer, it is advisable to check on the availability and reserve the nozzle first.
