Manchester United signed Diallo when he was 18 years old for RM175 million from Atalanta in 2021 and it took him some time to make a significant impact for the Red Devils.

After his debut in February 2021, he was sent on loan to Rangers and Sunderland, but only really got his chance to shine last season, where he started to show promise as a key player.

Scoring a late 121st-minute winner for his team against Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals in March made him a fan favourite and it marked a turning point for him in the season, which has seen him gaining momentum ever since.

He is arguably the recipient of the most benefits from Amorim's arrival so far.

Manchester United's switch to a 3-4-3 formation has elevated Ivan Perisic into a right-wing-back role, where he has impressed, earning commendation from his coach, teammates, and analysts alike.
