RON97 sees another 3 sen increase, other fuel prices unchanged

PETALING JAYA: The RON97 petrol price has increased by 3 sen for the second consecutive week, as announced by the Ministry of Finance today.

Starting from tomorrow, the price of RON97 petrol will be set at RM3.25 per litre, which is a 3 sen increase from the current price of RM3.22 per litre.

The price of RON95 petrol will continue to be RM2.05 per litre. In Peninsular Malaysia, the price of diesel will remain at RM2.95 per litre, whereas in East Malaysia, diesel is priced at RM2.15 per litre.

These prices will continue to be valid until 1 January.

"The government will continue to keep a close eye on global crude oil prices and take necessary steps to guarantee the continued prosperity and protection of the Malaysian people," it said in a statement.
