RON97, diesel up 3 sen

PETALING JAYA: The retail price of RON97 petrol will rise for a third consecutive week, with a three sen hike.

The Finance Ministry announced that, effective tomorrow onwards, the price of RON97 fuel will be RM3.28 per litre, up from RM3.25, whereas diesel will be priced at RM2.98 per litre in West Malaysia, a slight increase from the current RM2.95.

The price of diesel in East Malaysia remains unchanged at RM2.15 per litre, while RON95 remains at RM2.05 per litre.

These prices will be valid until January 8.

The government remains committed to closely tracking the fluctuations of global crude oil prices and taking necessary actions to safeguard the social and economic welfare of the people.
